| 2018 Christian Brothers graduate, Alex Trentman, is a member of our 1,000 Points Club and a member of our 2014 10th Region "A" Champion Mustangs. He returned to his alma mater to join Matt Lloyd and Zach Hertzenberg in coaching the freshmen two years ago. Playing for Christian Brothers University (Memphis, Tn, DivII), Alex started 24 games in 2016-17 scoring 24 points vs Alabama/Huntsville and 20 points in an exhibition game vs Memphis State. He was a starter throughout 2017-18, scoring 195 Points and grabbing 184 Rebounds for the Buccaneers who were 21-9. |

| Curtis Bezold '98 returns to his alma mater to serve as our Freshman coach for the second season after preparing, what is presently a 13 man sophomore unit which includes two additions. Previous to returning to the Brossart sidelines, Coach Bezold led Mustang feeder Sts. Peter and Paul, to back-to-back7th and 8th Grade Diocesan Championships. Curt was a member of our 10th Region Runner-Up '98 Mustangs in Coach Willie Schlarman's inaugural season as our head coach. The 1997-98 Mustangs recorded a 28-7 season record. Our freshmen will benefit greatly from his tutelage. |
