The 2014-15 Mustang JVs picked right up where they
left off a year ago when they posted a 15-3 record, were
7-1 in the NKAC D-II competition earning them a
co-conference title, while winning the 37th District
Championship over Campbell County in overtime.

The nucleus of that 13-14 team returned this year as
juniors, less Jackson Crawford and later Jacob Zai, to
post a 16-3 overall record and winning the NKAC
Division II Conference Championship with a 7-1 record.  
They were nosed by a single point by Campbell County
in the 37th District Championship game.  They posted a
most impressive win over Dixie Heights for the second
consecutive season, and defeated NCC by 16 points,
while NCC went on to win the NoKyJV Championship.

The 2014-15 JVs were led by Joey Hickman who
averaged 12.1 ppg while shooting 53% from the field.  
Hickman dominated the rebounding scene, pulling down
94 caroms.  Joey was our second top-assists leader
behind Justin Rolf and was the leader in the steals
category with 43, blocked shots with 5, and from the
free-throw line where he shot 71.43%, just edging Justin
Rolf who checked in at 70.73%.  Joey turned in 12
double-figure performances, and scored 21 against NCC
and put up 20 versus Holy Cross
Bryce Kremer wins the "Downtown Ollie Brown" award, connecting on 26 three-pointers, while shooting
37% from beyond the arc.  Logan Schultz (65%) and Dylan Geiman (62%) both shot over 60% from the
Coach Scott Code has now recorded a record of 58-15 over the past four years since his return as our Junior
Varsity coach.  During that period his JVs have won two NKAC D-II Conference titles while compiling a 25-6
conference record, and two 37th District Championships.
