The stats compiled above are a composite of what Jenna Verst, myself, and my broadcast partner recorded on our stats sheets, and in the scorebook, and what Mr. Jeff Miller was able to take from HUDL. I believe the Points scored to be accurate.
Parker Mulberry was our leading scorer (374pts/12.1ppg) and closes the book on his high school playing career with 781 points, occupying 36th place on the All-Time Career Scorers’ list. If you remember, he burst onto the scene back on Green-White Night back on November 26th, 2021 when he hit six 3-Pointers in the abbreviated exhibition session. He would go on to hit 166 of them in varsity games, 43 in his one year of JV ball, and 21 more for his Freshman Team. While I don’t keep a running chart of All-Time 3-Point Shooters. Zach Hamburg ’18 was our Most Recent 3-Point “legend”. He hit 141 of them. Nathan Seiter would top that list with 245 from beyond the arc. From the Free-Throw line, Dom is “Officially” our Top Free-Throw shooter, hitting 72 of 99 for 73%. The KHSAA requires 3 attempts per game to qualify for this recognition Parker, Alex, Beckett, Brady, Drew and Carson did not qualify. Unofficially, Drew Steffen hit Free-Throws at a School Record (83.5%) clip – 36 of 42 for 86%. Our mission in 2025-26 needs to be to get these guys to the Charity Stripe more often.
Dom Hadden was our second leading scorer with 288/9.3ppg on the season and 554 points scored in his career. He and Alex Combs led the team in Field Goal Percentage at 49%. Dom was our leading rebounder with 204 – 6.6rpg,and Alex was second with 180-6/4rpg. Dom led us in Assists at 91 while Beckett Kuntz was second with 72. Dom led us in Steals with 50, and Brady Boruske just missed with 48. Dom was also our Shots Blocked leader with 28 and Alex had 10. Carson Hesse took the most charges in a runaway with 14 credited to him. It would be interesting to know how many more he took that were actually called blocks.
As a team we actually out-scored our opponents 1946-1773.

In a year where our JV team was by committee, with members of our Freshman team being the variables, Sophomore Bauer Glass was the steadying force, having played in all 21 games and consistently being our leading scorer. Bauer specialized in shooting from beyond the arc, hitting 52 of them. By comparison, Parker Mulberry hit 43 of them in his year of playing JV ball. Going back as far as 2002-03 we have kept Junior Varsity team records. No player has exceeded , or come close to Baur’s 52 3’s in a season. Nathan Seiter is not in this conversation, having never played serious JV basketball. Glass also led the team from the free-throw line., sinking them at a 72% clip.
Jackson Steffen played in 14 JV games before graduating to the varsity ranks, putting 103 points (7.4ppg) on the board. Freshman Brady Rowe made his presence felt contributing 102 points in 16 games (6.9ppg).
J.J. Carr, who was diagnosed to miss the entire season worked his way into competition with a few weeks remaining in the season.

This was a very exciting Freshman basketball team, comprised of talented players, that improved on a weekly basis. They finished in the Final Four of the Northern Kentucky Freshman Tournament, after upsetting Holy Cross, one of the tournament favorites. Their 16 wins was tops since 2011-12, when they too won 16 games. The 2010-11 team are our best ever at 26-1.
Four of these players also saw quite a bit of JV action and represented themselves well at the “next level.”
Jake Bricking and Wyatt Feldman were named to the NoKyFreshmanTournament – All-Tournament Team.
