AARON STAMM

VARSITY HEAD COACH

Aaron Stamm took over as Head Coach of the Girls’ Varsity Basketball team for the 2025-26 season. With over two decades of coaching experience in Northern Kentucky, Coach Stamm brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the Mustangs.

Coach Stamm’s coaching career spans 21 years, including 18 years dedicated to coaching girls’ varsity basketball. He began his head coaching journey at Ludlow High School, where he led the girls’ team from 2004 to 2010 and again from 2019 to 2022. During his tenure at Ludlow, Coach Stamm amassed 173 wins, secured six 9th Region Tournament appearances, and clinched seven NKAC Division 3 Championships. He also coached at Conner High School from 2010 to 2019, achieving 181 wins, five 9th Region Tournament appearances, and a 33rd District Championship in 2017. In his most recent role, Coach Stamm served as the boys’ head varsity coach at Ludlow from 2022 to 2025.

Throughout his illustrious career, Coach Stamm has been honored with multiple Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches (KABC) Coach of the Year awards and recently celebrated his 400th career win during the 2024-2025 season.

His contributions to the sport have been recognized with inductions into both the Ludlow Sports Hall of Fame and the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame. Coach Stamm resides in Erlanger with his wife, Patty, and their two children, Hayden and Alisa. Welcome to BBHS, Coach Stamm and family!

In Stamm’s first season, the Lady ‘Stangs put together outstanding 2025–26 accomplishments, finishing with a 25–8 record. After opening the season with 13 consecutive victories, they captured the Lady Invitational of the South championship and claimed their 19th 10th Region All “A” Classic title, defeating Nicholas County 61–55 to earn a trip to the state tournament. Brossart continued its postseason success by defeating Green County 56–49 and Danville Christian 63–34 to reach the All “A” Classic state semifinals for the second consecutive year. Kylie Smith led the way with 17.6 points per game and a game-high 21 points in the regional All “A” championship, while Lilee Meyers earned All-Tournament recognition. The Lady ‘Stangs also advanced to the 10th Region Tournament quarterfinals before their season ended against four-time defending champion George Rogers Clark.

CHAD CLIFT

JV HEAD COACH

Chad Clift enters his sixth year on staff. Coach Clift has over 12 years of coaching experience at the grade school and high school levels at both St. Mary and BBHS. He resides in Alexandria with his wife, Emily, and their three daughters. Coach Clift is a member of St. Mary Parish in Alexandria.

LILY CROPENBAKER

FROSH HEAD COACH

Lily Cropenbaker moves into her fourth year on staff. She is a 2020 graduate of Bishop Brossart, where she played basketball, and was the JV head coach last year and an assistant coach in previous years. She is enrolled at the University of the Cumberlands, majoring in Education. Lily attends St. Phillip.

BRAD WOLFZORN

Coach Wolfzorn is in his 19th Season coaching high school basketball in Greater Cincinnati. His previous experience includes ten years with girls and nine years with boys. He has 11 years of Varsity head coaching experience, mostly recently as the girls head coach at Williamstown. He has also coached Gamble Montessori boys in Cincinnati, Bellevue boys and Bracken County girls in Northern Kentucky. In his 11th year of teaching, Coach Wolfzorn is a Special Education teacher at Campbell County Middle School. He resides in Lakeside Park and attends Cornerstone Church of Northern Kentucky which will be opening in Alexandria in 2026.

MARIAH FROMMEYER

Mariah is a 2019 graduate of Bishop Brossart where she played basketball. She is a 2023 graduate of NKU where she majored in Construction Management. She is a Project Engineer at Paul Hemmer. Mariah attends St. Joseph Cold Spring, and she is in her fourth season of coaching.

Olivia Nienaber Day

Olivia enters her second year coaching high school. She has 7 previous years coaching at the middle school level for St. Mary. Olivia is a 2016 graduate of Bishop Brossart where she was a multisport athlete. She went on to play soccer for Thomas More, graduating in 2020 with a Biology degree. She then received her BSN from NKU in 2023 and currently works as an ER nurse for St. Elizabeth. She recently married her husband, Bryce, in April 2025.

Marie Kiefer

One of the most accomplished athletes in BBHS history, Kiefer led the Lady ’Stangs to a 10th Region championship and a trip to Rupp Arena during her senior season. She remains the program’s all-time career leader in rebounds with 1,058 and ranks second in career scoring with 1,785 points. Kiefer continued her standout career at Ball State, where she played four seasons and made her mark in the record books. She set a new single-season program record with 58 blocks and finished her collegiate career as Ball State’s all-time leader in career blocks with 198. Now, Kiefer returns to the program where she made her mark, bringing her experience, leadership, and passion for the game to the next generation of Lady ’Stangs.
