Mustangs Fans—this is a feature that no other school can provide. When we received word that Meridix was going away and that their archives would no longer be accessible, Andy Goodman and I undertook a project back in the spring, and downloaded every Meridix Broadcast that we had produced. I pretty much had all of our EZStream Broadcasts on file, and when former Head Basketball Coach Mike Code requested the broadcasts of all of the games that he had coached during his 16 year tenure, I went to work. The first hurdle was converting the MP4 files and .asf files that were created by EZStream and Meridix to the universal MP3 format. Unfortunately during our early I-High days our admin dictated to us to use I-High because it was free, while EZStream was fee-based. I refused to do Boys Basketball or Football over I-High, but did oblige and broadcast Girls Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer via I-High. Well, you get what you pay for, and when the KHSAA cancelled their contract with I-High we lost all of our I-High archives.
The forum that we have created pretty much provides every Boys Basketball and every Varsity, JV and Colts, Football games that were ever played. There is also Video of our 2012 State Tournament Baseball Games played At Applebee’s Park, including our upset of Louisville St. X, one of the biggest conquests ever by a Bishop Brossart athletics team. There is also a tribute video available of that team that is worth your time to watch.
