
Bishop Brossart High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Aaron Stamm as the new Head Coach of the Girls’ Varsity Basketball team. With over two decades of coaching experience in Northern Kentucky, Coach Stamm brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the Mustangs.
Coach Stamm’s coaching career spans 21 years, including 18 years dedicated to coaching girls’ varsity basketball. He began his head coaching journey at Ludlow High School, where he led the girls’ team from 2004 to 2010 and again from 2019 to 2022. During his tenure at Ludlow, Coach Stamm amassed 173 wins, secured six 9th Region Tournament appearances, and clinched seven NKAC Division 3 Championships. He also coached at Conner High School from 2010 to 2019, achieving 181 wins, five 9th Region Tournament appearances, and a 33rd District Championship in 2017. In his most recent role, Coach Stamm served as the boys’ head varsity coach at Ludlow from 2022 to 2025.
Throughout his illustrious career, Coach Stamm has been honored with multiple Kentucky Association of Basketball Coaches (KABC) Coach of the Year awards and recently celebrated his 400th career win during the 2024-2025 season. His contributions to the sport have been recognized with inductions into both the Ludlow Sports Hall of Fame and the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame.
Coach Stamm resides in Erlanger with his wife, Patty, and their two children, Hayden and Alisa.
NOTE: Aaron Stamm and I go way back. He has been a dedicated coach and supporter of Ludlow Athletics throughout his life. He also broadcasts Ludlow Football games. I think that he is s perfect fit here at Brossart and am happy to have him on board.
