Mustangs Vs Campbell County
Friday, , December 16th
** Broadcast replay available **

With Campbell County defeating our Mustangs 62-43 a year ago (Hamilton 17, Davie 11, Hill 11 – Govan 18, Sepate 12) in the Crosstown Classic, they knotted the series at 12-12, dating back to December 12, 1998 when Mr. Harry Stevens and the Alexandria Businessman’s Association formally created the “Crosstown Classic Series” and made these games a community event.  In addition to basketball games, scholarships are awarded to our students, and the creation of the Annual FoodOut has benefitted the needy in our community with food contributions.   Brossart won 7 of the first 9 Crosstowns.  The Camels lead the Crosstown series 6-4 over the past ten renewals, with our most recent victory coming in 2019-20 when we defeated the Camels 67-58.  In that game Ethan Eilerman and Carson Schirmer both put up 21 points each, Stephen Verst added 10.  Dane Hegyl led the Camels with 16, Jordan Gross added 15, and Ayden Hamilton, who was a freshman at the time, contributed 12.
