Colin Combs and Brandon Bezold didn’t allow a single hit, as the Mustangs defeated Lloyd Memorial 16-0 on Thursday. Brandon Bezold induced a fly out to get the last out of the game.
Logan Meyer led BBHS to victory by driving in five runs. Meyer went 3-for-4 at the plate. Logan drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the third, a sacrifice fly in the fourth, and a home run in the fifth.
We didn’t waste any time, getting things moving in the first inning. Bezold was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.
Our boys tallied six runs in the fifth inning. Alex Amin, Keagen Gulley, Aiden Schultz, and Logan Meyer all contributed in the big inning with RBls.
Colin Combs earned the win for the night, allowing zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out three. Bezold threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
