Marie Kiefer

The daughter of Doug and DeAnn Kiefer and St. Phillip grad, Marie, is a 2021 graduate from Bishop Brossart. She led the Lady ‘Stangs to the 10th Region title and Rupp Arena her senior year. She is the women’s all-time career-leader in rebounds (1058) and second all-time in points (1785).
Marie is a Senior at Ball State, where she is close to the 1,000 point club and has set rebounding records. She is majoring in Public Health and has been selected Academic All-American in each of her first two seasons.

Marie Kiefer closes In On Ball State 1,000 Points Club - Sets Additional Shot Block Records and is Named The Mid-American Conference Defensive POY
A large contingency of Brossart fans made the trek to Muncie, Indiana last Sunday for Senior Day, which included Brossart grad Marie Kiefer'21.
In a subsequent game the team won the Mid-American Conference Championship, and Marie was named the Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Kiefer leads the conference in blocks (58) and blocks per game (1.87). Her 58 blocks is a new single-season record at Ball State, and she is also the program’s career blocks leader with 198.
If my Brossart math serves me correctly, Marie is just 46 points shy of joining the Ball State Women’s 1,000 Points Club, The team which is 24-7, 16-2, is scheduled to play on Wednesday (3/12/25) at 11am versus Western Michigan in the Mid-American Conference Tournament. The team has a potential of three games remaining in the tournament, plus any Post-Season bids.
