Brossart’s second leading all-time leading scorer, Marie Kiefer, played in her first college game Tuesday evening, scoring 9 points in her debut, an 84-75 overtime win over Milwaukee, in Muncie, Indiana.
Kiefer scored the first two baskets in the overtime period, paving the way for the Cardinals’ victory.
In addition to her 8 points, where she was 4 of 5 from the field, and 1 of 1 from the free-throw line, Marie pulled down 6 rebounds, had 2 blocked shots and a pair of steals.
Kiefer and the Cardinals remain at home Friday evening , taking on Purdue – Fort Wayne in Worthen Arena in a 6:30pm ET start.
