Verst Family Baseball Field & Baynum Family Softball Field

Thank you To All Who Joined Us For Opening Day @ The Mustang Athletic Complex!

⚾ Wednesday March 18th 🥎

Opening Day excitement kicked off the baseball and softball seasons on Wednesday, March 18th. Both games started promptly at 6:00pm, after a full lineup of pregame festivities that began around 5:30pm. Fans were able to enjoy a special field blessing, Shannon Kramer's beautiful performance of the National Anthem with an enormous American Flag stretched across the outfield, ceremonial first pitches, and more.

After breaking ground in late 2024, the fields were ready for practice and summer camps by 2025...and now games in 2026. The Mustangs baseball and Lady 'Stangs softball teams now play at a state-of-the-art home facility, built for unforgettable home games, regionals, and tournaments! Athletes can now enjoy turf infields and outfields, modern dugouts, and lights that make every game shine. Get up close to all the action on the field—or take in the view from our elevated patio behind right field.
This is where Mustangs magic happens—don’t miss a moment!

We'd like to thank everyone who made Opening Day possible, and more importantly, those who made this dream come true. A lot of planning, fund-raising, physical labor, donations and much, much more. All-Turf Fields

For years, the BBHS baseball and softball teams have played their home games off-campus at Saint Mary and Alexandria Community Park. Players and coaches needed to arrive early to rake baselines and batter’s boxes, drag the infield, and line the fields before the first pitch. Games & practices were canceled due to field conditions. Those days are over!

Coaches and players can now enjoy practices and games, rain or shine. They can focus on the game instead of field preparation and clean-up. Games that would previously be canceled due to standing water, can now be played. It also means cleaner uniforms when the game is over!

Field Lighting

Field lights are a great way to transform a baseball and softball game into an unforgettable experience, extending the action beyond sunset and creating a dramatic, electric atmosphere. As daylight fades, the glow of stadium lights sharpens every pitch, swing, and diving play, drawing fans closer to the drama on the field. Night games feel bigger, louder, and more intense, with the bright field set against a dark sky that makes the moment stand out.

We're excited to host games and practices that extend beyond daylight. Lights provide flexibility in scheduling, allowing games and practices that may have ended early, to continue and in a safe manner.

Green Monster

When this area of the MAC was being designed, we knew that a "Green Monster" wall had to be a part of both fields. Our version of the towering left-field wall at Fenway Park is also located in left field of both the baseball and softball fields. Just another feature that makes the MAC a state-of-the-art facility.

The Green Monster doesn’t just sit in left field — it changes the game. A routine fly ball anywhere else might clear the fence, but at the MAC, it can smash off the towering wall, turning would-be homeruns into clutch doubles and game-changing plays. Sluggers step to the plate in hopes of sending a shot over the Monster!

Deluxe Dugouts

Muddy, overcrowded dugouts are a thing of the past. We went all-out to create a spacious, well-designed environment that comfortably accommodates the entire team, their equipment, and provides reliable shelter from the elements. Pitchers and catchers benefit from a dedicated, enclosed bullpen designed for safety and efficiency.

Beyond comfort, a thoughtfully built dugout enhances player safety, minimizes distractions, and showcases pride in the program—creating a professional, energized atmosphere that motivates athletes to perform at their best.
