We are a very exciting basketball team.  We play hard, but lack a “Go To” Big man.  Never has this been more evident than against Boone County on Wednesday in Florence, and again Friday night at home on Senior Night vs Mason County.  Boone big man, 6’5″ widebody Maddox Jones put up 23, and 6’6″ Riley Mastin recorded 28.  Both controlled the boards on both ends of the floor.  In 2006 we possessed a pair of the as described big men, one was Troy Cooper, and we all know about him.  The other was Kyle Lubbers, and he would fit the bill for our 2023 Mustangs – just someone to neutralize our opponent’s biggun.  This is no knock on Luke Schumacher who is a more natural Four-Man, power forward., than a post-em-up, overpowering, center. Our Mustangs were led by Logan Woosley with 21 points.  Brandon Bezold put up 13, including four from beyond the arc.  Luke Schumacher added 12, and Mason Sepate 10.  The Mason County double-figure scorers were Riley Mastin with 27, Carter McClanahan 17, Khristian Walton 12, and Braylon Hamilton 11.  Mason Sepate has passed the 900 Points plateau and now has 903 career points.  Logan Woosley has joined Sepate and Brandon Bezold, 551, in exceeding 500 Points with 525 career points.

NFHS Network

Both the Munninghoff Family Stadium at the MAC, and the Seither Center gymnasium provides ability to watch the games online or through other streaming outlets. The games can be viewed on your computer, phones, tablets, and streaming devices (AppleTV, FireTV and Roku). We have partnered with the NFHS to make this happen.

This does come with a subscription fee. You may choose from a monthly or annual subscription. If you sign up via the button below, BBHS does receive a small portion of that fee.
