Senior Zoee Meyers Sets New School Record

During an amazing 2025 All “A” State Tournament run, where the Lady ‘Stangs played their way to the Final Four, Senior Zoee Meyers set a new BBHS girls basketball school record for three-point baskets made in a single game.  Meyers nailed seven three pointers on Saturday, January 25, 2025.

Zoee finished with 25 points and was named to the All-Tournament Team.  She is a 3-year starter for the Lady ‘Stangs and a natural leader on and off the court.  She also shares her success with her younger sister, Lilee, who is a rising Sophomore on the team.

Check out some of Zoee’s other stats (and counting), which speak for themselves:

Zoee now joins the company of four other Lady ‘Stangs, who set or tied the BBHS girls record with six three pointers made in a game:  2001 Miss Kentucky Basketball Katie Schwegmann-Steffen, her neice Olivia Lloyd (’23), current assistant coach – Maddie Flaugher and Abby King.  Before setting the record on 1/25/25, Meyers also previously tied the record (6) as a Sophomore two years ago in the State Tournament.

This accomplishment is a nice addition to this team’s successful season so far, which currently sits at a 15-5 record, 10th Region Champs, 9th in the state for scoring margin, 18th in the state for defense, a 31 RPI rating, and 38th in the state for free throws.

Where's She Headed Next?

Zoee recently shared her commitment to Muskingum University where she will continue her athletic and academic (physical therapy) career!
"Z has great instincts and is a great team player. Muskingum is getting a great young lady!”
