Mustangs prevail over Holmes Saturday morning

Seven players score 10 goals in a rare Saturday morning game vs. Holmes High School

After having a mid-afternoon game rescheduled to 9AM, due to the heat, the Mustangs took on the Bulldogs of Holmes High School.  Senior, Tyler Twehues, got things started with a goal just 86 seconds in.  Later in game, sophomore Brennan Callahan, added 2 goals of his own while assisting his teammates for 2 more.

The Mustangs kept the pressure up, maintaining possession for the majority of the match, while 6 other players scored prior to the 10-0 score with 24:30 left in the second half.

Simon Kenton hosts the Mustangs on Tuesday, August 31st @7:30 (JV @6:00). Moving onto Saturday September 2nd the boys will be the home team as they take on Calvary Christian in the “All-A”.  Game time is scheduled for 5:00PM at the Paris Athletic Complex in Paris, KY.
