Thanks to my broadcast partners – Vince Nerone and Mike Schack for Football.  Dan Schultz on Girls BBall broadcasts, and Dave Trentman, Kevin Steffen, Jim Verst, Dustin Mulberry, and Mike Schack on Boys Basketball events.

This past broadcast year (August 22-March 23) we broadcast 62 events – 12 Varsity, 4 JV, and 1 Colts Football Games and 45 Basketball Games – 41 Varsity, 2 JV, and 2 Freshmen Games.  This year we incurred no total broadcast failures, and only one partial failure (loss of the second quarter) out of Paris High School.  There have been gyms with no internet service, that I have been able to utilize an alternate broadcast source.  We have downloads of every broadcast since going with Meridix back in 2018 both on my computer and on CD.  I also record every broadcast, allowing me to create a complete game broadcast archive in the event of live broadcast failures such as the Paris game.   I created CDs of each Varsity Football, Boys Basketball, and Girls Basketball game broadcast and gave one (or will give one) to each player and coach from each sport.

During this broadcast season we had 12,019 Live Listeners, from 5,635 different IP addresses, and 10,139 Listen to an Archive from 6,934 different IP addresses.  One of our broadcasts (Football Vs Fairview) was carried on commercial radio – Kool Hits 105.7 out of Ashland but only counted as one listener.

Our top broadcasts by month were:

August – Newport Football – 537     In August we had two broadcasts with in excess of 400 listeners.

September  –  Ludlow Football – 234

October  –   Nicholas Co Football  – 381

November – Paintsville Football 467

December  –  Newport Boys BBall – 287

January – Bethlehem “A” Girls BBall – 739     In January there were four broadcasts that had in excess of 400 listeners.

February – Scott 37th Boys – 314

Our only March broadcast was last Saturday with our Girls Basketball Team playing Montgomery County in the 10th Region Tournament.  We had 217 Live Listeners from 126 IP addresses, and so far to date this month 350 have accessed an archive from 281 IP addresses.

Thanks for listening!!!

NFHS Network

Both the Munninghoff Family Stadium at the MAC, and the Seither Center gymnasium provides ability to watch the games online or through other streaming outlets. The games can be viewed on your computer, phones, tablets, and streaming devices (AppleTV, FireTV and Roku). We have partnered with the NFHS to make this happen.

This does come with a subscription fee. You may choose from a monthly or annual subscription. If you sign up via the button below, BBHS does receive a small portion of that fee.
