10/28: No chemo recommended!! Thank you to everyone who helped, contributed and donated to the benefit golf outing on 10/30!
Brossart Baseball and Basketball Legend Justin Seiter was diagnosed with colon cancer on Labor Day, Monday, September 6th and underwent surgery at Christ Hospital on Thursday, September 8th to remove the cancerous mass. The operation was successful, but a few days later Justin developed an infection which his team has been treating, and has kept him in the hospital.
His post-op reported no other organs nor lymph nodes affected.
A recent update from Justin’s wife Annelies, published on Facebook on October 28th:
NO. CHEMO. RECOMMENDED.
Does not guarantee no reoccurrence, but that’s why we will continue with blood work and/or scans every 3 months.
So thankful for science and cancer research for the blessing of the new Signatera Testing for saving his body from chemotherapy. Justin is one of only hundreds that have recently been blessed with this type of research to outweigh the risk vs. benefit from chemotherapy.
God is good!!!! Gosh, I promise you! He is oh, so good!
Thank YOU ALL for carrying our little family through the fog for these past two months. We are forever thankful and will absolutely be paying it forward.
