The Boys Of Fall Enjoy Midnight Madness Practice

Sounds of  pads crashing filled the early morning air at Midnight Madness at the MAC.

A smattering of parents, fans, former players and myself gathered at the MAC late Sunday night to watch our Mustangs, 49 strong take to the filed and get in some contact work at the hour of midnight when one on one collisions became permissible.

As the team gathered in the locker room preparing to take the field, the attendees were treated to a place-kicking exhibition by Junior Tyler Smith, who has the potential to make the transition from “Andrew “Dewey” Schwartz, seamless.

For the next 50 minutes, we conducted one on one contact drills, pass catch/defend drills and some line work.  We will continue to advance towards the commencement of the regular season at Dayton on August 19th, this coming Friday night when we show off the team to the public at our annual Green and White, Meet the Team night beginning at 6:30pm at the MAC.  Admission is Free.
