Brossart Ladies Denied Back-to-Back State Championships, Boys Finish Third

Brossart senior Claire Curtsinger became the KHSAA Class 1A Back-to-Back State Champion on Saturday morning at the Bourbon County Cross Country Course, in Paris, Ky..  Amy Klocke, who was the State Runner-up a year ago, finished fourth.  The team was attempting to become back-to-back Class 1A State Champs, finished third behind Lexington Christian and Villa.

Notre Dame defeaated South Oldham 1-0 to win the Girls Soccer State Championship.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated CovCath 2-1 to win the Boys State Soccer Championship.

The KHSAA failed to put the girls score on the KHSAA Riherds Soccer page – Go Figure!!!
